 what the frick!? October 24th, 2008, 12:44 pmOk... SERIOUS?!?!?! Do I REALLY sound like a girl on the phone.
When I call patients at work, I get at least 3 or 4 people everytime say "thanks ma'am"
Sometimes I try to make my voice extra deep and scratchy, just so I don't have to hear that.
wow it's annoying.
that's my rant.

that's my rant. are you working with old people? sometimes it happens to me when the other person is really old and they don't know what the heck is going on. other times when i have to talk to a paitent they are strung out and dialed the wrong extension and can't tell if i am a person or a recording, that is fun too

that's my rant. Yes. And for some reason Jason sounds like Thomas when he records his voicemail message. Weird world.

The whole time they're talking to you they're probably thinking "this lady has a really deep voice, if I didn't know better I'd think she was a man, but thats just crazy talk."

Plus didn't Dr.Pond's office have mostly female employees for awhile? Many of the patients may be used to Nicole calling them, not you.
