due to the forum update any video posted before 6-05-06 will appear as a bunch of gobble because i just updated the forum. due to the sheer number of posts i might edit some old posts however don't get your hopes up, remember i am lazy.

all videos posted from now on will need to use the special BBcode tags. this makes posting fancy embedded videos much easier for you and much safer for everyone else.

all of these BBcodes can be found in fancy buttons where you type in your posts. click on a button and it will type in the BBcode for you!

Stupidvideos.com
each video has a number and it is displayed in the title bar and address bar. Example:

http://www.stupidvideos.com/video/dobedo/?m=new#nnnnnn

type this in the following format. example:

Code:

[stupidvideo]nnnnnn[/stupidvideo]

and the forum will take care of the coding for you!

Break.com
unfortunately this one is not so easy to find. the only "usable" video ID for break can be found in the "embed" menu on the player itself. click "copy code and you will get something like this:

look for this line: "http://embed.break.com/" right after that you see a alphanumeric value. that is the Video ID. copy that and use it in the following format:

[break]blablablablabla[/break]

and you will end up with a fancy video pane!

Windows Media
in this example the BBcode actually greatly simplifies posting this media in the forum! all you need to do is find a video URL pointing to the actual video URL. for example:

http://www.blabla.com/whatever/greatvideo.wmv

grab that and plop it in between the "windowsmedia" tags like so:

[windowsmedia]http://www.blabla.com/whatever/greatvideo.wmv[/windowsmedia]

and the forum will automatically embed that video in the forum for you!!

Youtube
youtube video IDs are in the URL or page address. look in the URL for "watch?v=". copy the numbers and letters behind that making sure to stop if there are any other characters behind it leaving out "&" or "?".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blablablablabla

grab that and paste it inbetween "youtube" tags. example:

[youtube]blablablablabla[/youtube]

tada! you are done!!

Google Video
Google Video puts their video IDs in the address at the top of the window. it is an all numeric value (making sure not to grab the "&" or anything else), check out the example:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn&hl=en

put that inbetween some "googlevideo" tags like so:

and KABLAM you gots a nice shiny video!

remember if you don't want to type out these tags i made it easy for you by adding buttons in the posting window that will type them in for you!
