Hey Ladies! I've been thinking about you all and have the feeling that life is a little crazy down there with the wedding just around the corner! I really wish I could make it down there and celebrate with everyone!

So big news first... Just lost/left my job Thursday. I was going to leave at the end of February but apparently my boss wanted me to leave earlier. She made me cry at work multiple times in the past week. She is quite frankly a lickety splits. haha. Seriously though, I hated working for her and it's almost relieving to not have to wake up and feel angry to have to go to work. She even knew at the beginning of the week that she was going to fire me because I immediately went job scouting and saw my job had been posted since Tuesday. So stupid.

At any rate, I applied to four different spots and feel confident I will get at least one of them in the next week here. Cross your fingers for me!
Lucky for me, my rent is cheap and I'm hooked on eating Campbell Select Harvest soup!

Chris and I are doing awesome! We are in the middle of planning a trip to Peru. Departure time for that trip is set the Monday after the Hot Dog Champagne Party (mark your calendars May 15th!). We will be gone for two weeks down there and have some great adventures planned, including mountain biking around the ruins in Cusco, flying over the Nazca lines, white water rafting the river through the Sacred Valley, and of course hiking to Machu Pichu! We're so excited!

Seeing as I'm not working right now I am trying to head into Tahoe to hang out with Chris and a girlfriend who is going to Guyana, South America for the Peace Corps. So cool! So hopefully the next few days is going to be spent in beautiful snow country!

Then I will be heading to SLO late February for a tournament and of course drinking. Drinking is a must there! I have a list at a bar of 100 shots that I hope to finish in my lifetime. I'm already 6 shots deep on the list and that was just from my first night starting. haha

Next time I am down south will be around late April. Hope to see some of you then!

A little update...sounds like a LOT has happened! I am glad to hear that you made the move to get another job. A boss should never reduce you to tears!!!! Plus, she was a crazy micro-manager that will just break whomever she hires next.
I am glad to hear you are planning an awesome trip to Peru, and that you have such an adventurous boyfriend to go with!!! You both will have a great time, and maybe there will be some crazy Peruvian shot you will take that is not even on your list (hahaha). Well, good luck with the job hunt...whoever hires you will be getting the pick of the litter!

I agree with Bethany, a LOT has happened. I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you to get one of the four positions you applied for!! I too am excited for you and your trip to Peru. Sounds like you have a lot of great activities planned. I am envious! It's good to hear that you and Chris are doing well. I am so happy for you. Thank you for these updates too, it's always nice to hear from you! You are AWESOME!!!!!

I love you that you keep us updated! I'm sorry about the job thing, but it will be great to move on to the next job adventure. I'm glad that you and Chris are doing well and I hope we can meet him soon. Are you bringing him down in April? Peru sounds fantastic! Can't wait to see pictures after. We miss you a lot!
