Eric,
I'm sorry that you felt I was being snippy. That was not my intention at all. It's just that I don't know much more than you do about Jason leaving and I wanted to make sure that whatever information was shared was from him. I'm sorry that my choice of words didn't reflect that.

I don't think anyone is trying to be snippy, it's just what the internet does. It sucks out emotions and let's you twist and turn words in your own head!

I think everyone is just trying to be friendly and figure this snow weekend out!

I was trying to be snippy. BTW, I'm moving too...hopefully...although I don't know when, where, or if. More details to follow on February 19th.

Stephen that's not helpful at all. LOL You don't know where, when, or if. LOL That's hilarious! I'm looking forward to the 19th. I'm so curious!

So Saturday 27th and Sunday the 28th it is!

Corey, you should just bring warm clothes and boots if you have them, and a mind set of being ok to get wet.

Jason, I hope that you can come. Your last post didn't sound like those were definite moving days, I hope not. Hehe I am happy for you that you got the transfer, you are off to your next adventure!

Steve has informed me that he thinks his dad is coming out that weekend so if that is the weekend his dad comes out he won't be able to go. :(

Hi everyone,

I will not be able to stay for Sunday due to a job prospect. But I would still like to go. Thomas and I will be driving up Friday night (2/26), with whoever would like to join us. I will be leaving Saturday night but Thomas will be staying until Sunday. Whoever cannot come up on Friday, may drive up Saturday and stay till Sunday. It will end up being the whole weekend event and whoever is available at some point during the weekend is free to join us. I hope everyone is excited.

Try to update us with when you plan on coming up, so we can figure out carpooling. There is limited parking and it would be best to combine people into as few cars as possible.

Corey - My biggest thing about snow clothing is bringing extra stuff. As Jessica said, it's okay to get wet, but it's no fun to stay wet. I think waterproof clothing is better, but if you don't have any just pack doubles! I had my Laker's jacket the one time that is pretty waterproof, it worked out well and Ian was able to ride me like a sled.

As far as Steve's Dad goes, I know he's in town now, so I would doubt he's in town next weekend too. However Jessica probably already knows that, but for anyone who isn't up to date!

Jessica - I won't be able to make it, looks like I'll be trying to move starting that Friday. I'm still discussing plans with my parents a bit because they may or may not drive out with me just depending, but I'll probably leave Friday the 26th or Saturday the 27th (morning).

Hope you guys have fun, and rock out Birthday Girls!

Ok so here are my thoughts:

I heard it's supposed to rain down here this week end and I think that means it will be snowing up there. Yay! That's super fun, but I don't own a car that can drive up the mountain in those conditions. : / I was planning to go up Saturday early because I have small group on Friday nights. I could go up after small group on Friday if someone wants to go on Friday, but doesn't mind waiting a few hours. Then we could take Eric up with us. I would still plan on staying until Sunday.

Also, Nick can't go with us this weekend because he has a lot of homework to do. I know, super sad day!

So tell me what you think.

Hey Everyone,

Here is a list of the people I have confirmed for Friday:
Corey
Natalie
Thomas
Megan
Heather
Bethany
Jessica
Eric

If anyone else is going that I have forgotten, please let me know asap.

Here is an update of the plan for this weekend:
We will be leaving Friday night in two cars. Both cars will be coming back on Saturday sometime. One car will leave about 630 or 7 pm. Thomas will be driving. The second car will leave about 930 pm and Jessica will be driving.

Here is the carpool list:
Thomas's Car (630):
Himself
Bethany
Corey
Natalie
Jessica's Car (930):
Herself
Megan
Eric
Heather

The weather is looking a little iffy but as of now we're going to try and make it up there anyway. It is supposed to rain all day. Heather and I are monitoring the weather like crazy, so if anything changes we'll post about it.

There is food up there that we can eat, but we probably shouldn't eat all of it, so if you'd like something specific like a snack or alcohol, please bring it yourself.

If you do not have snow appropriate clothing, which most of us don't, just bring shoes that you don't care will get wet, lots of layers and socks, and make sure to have dry, warm clothes to change into when we get back from playing.

I'm excited for this trip and I'm looking forward to all the fun that we are going to have!

Let me know if I left anything out.
