I noticed that there is some talk about Labor Day weekend plans, so I wanted to throw this out there. I'm planning on having my birthday party this weekend. Here are the details:

Basically, the plan is to swim, eat, and be merry until around 8 or 9 when I thought a drive-in movie would be fun. This whole thing is going down for sure. I already have a bit of family and friends coming, so I hope most of you guys can stop by. Also, we'll have the basics as far as food goes, but anyone is welcome to bring sides, dips, or whatever else they want to add to the party.

now when you say "whatever else they want to add to the party"... what exactly are the boundaries here?

Just to clarify for Beth and everyone else:

Yes, I just turned 21 so alcohol is allowed and encouraged. My mom will have some beer and maybe another big bucket margarita, so if anyone likes to drink anything other than that, please bring it on over. As for food, there will be chicken legs, hot dogs (turkey, I think), and sausages provided. Any other meat is welcome if anyone brings it. And, finally, my mom bought a ton of chips and requested that you all pitch us your favorite dips.

So that's about that. I am really excited for Saturday! Hopefully I'll see a lot of you there.
