So i guess what i need now is just a better explenation of what im trying to do. haha, cuz like i know what i want to do and i think it just needs to be explained back to me.

http://sidecho.com/podcast/episode1.mp3

thats the page we have of the podcast episode. it plays

but what i am trying to achieve is a basic page:

links to all podcast episodes, starting with latest episode first then going back chronologically.

then i just want an rss connected to these episodes so then it can be linked to the itunes directory.

ive looked at all these walk throughs but im not to sure what programs i should be using. then where should i put the scripts. the more and more i look into it the more i kind of get confused. i really wanna learn how to do this because its very fun and cool, but frusrating cuz there is some things i dont understand! hahaha

this is the best one to use if you have access to the site and it runs with PHP support. all you will then need to do is plop the files that you get from this site:

http://podcastgen.sourceforge.net/

and you can then upload mp3s and the scripts will automatically generate a RSS feed for podcasting. i use it to relay some mp3s to podcast on my computer and it works great.

thanks patrick

so the problem im running into now is that it when i try to submit it to the itunes directory, i get this:

Error parsing feed: Invalid XML: Error on line 34: The prefix "itunes" for element "itunes:author: is not bound

so i tried swithcing things around, but no matter where i put it says the same thing, just a different line number.

what does this mean? how do i fix it?

ive tried other forums but ive gotten no responce, and ive tried google.
