Horrible News October 3rd, 2008, 11:20 am
This is horrible news regarding the button you push at the crosswalk so the little walking figure will light up and let you cross. Everyone always mashes that button a million times. I do it too, it just doesn't feel right if you don't. Like if you don't mash it the light might decide that you don't want to cross bad enough so it's just not going to bother to let you go. But about a week ago I decided this was ridiculous and that I was gonna prove everyone wrong by just pushing it once and being let across. So everytime I went to cross the street I pushed it once and waited but someone would always come up on the other side and mash the button and ruin my experiment (I cross the street 4 to 6 times a day so this is alot of failed attempts). But finally today no one ruined my experiment. I pushed the button one time. I waited patiently. And the stupid thing never lit up to let me cross! What the hell!!! I really wanted to cross too, I guess it just didn't know it.

its the same thing for your computer. if you don't mash the spacebar or enter key there is no way for the computer to know how important it is to you. apparently the same thing applies to the cross walk. the more you know <Insert Music Here>

I know this is a little off topic and I hope it doesn't throw off scientific research such as your own.
But growing up my Dad always told me if you mash the button on an elevator it'll go faster. Considering he's an electrician this theory must be 100% true. He probably knows stuff about stuff.

I believe it. After all, french fries really do give you cancer. I'm gonna assume he's right about this one too.
