So today was the 31st running of the annual Broad Street Run. A race that goes down one of the main streets in Philadelphia starting all the way up at Olney running past Temple University, going around City Hall, by the Sports Complex and finishing at the Navy Yard.

It also happened to be the hottest May 2nd on record in Philadelphia hitting a high of 88 degrees. I'm not sure what the temperature was at the start but I know it was 79 degrees already by the time I stepped out my door (and quite humid). So my splits show that I kind of lost it as time was going by..

Overall, a good run given the heat I ended up with a finishing time of 1:20:53

completed a mile and a half last night at ass early. drinking and running don't really go together, either, as evident in the last half mile+cool down.
