10.75 miles for the day, it was cold and rainy in Philadelphia and the wind was holding me back along the Schulkyl. Overall, I did pretty well 1:30:06 but that obscures the fact that the last few miles were pretty slow as my shoes filled up with water. Pretty good pacing for a long run, felt good to be back along side the river. Legs are still a little tight in the after math of the half marathon. Maybe I'll finally follow up and get that sports massage I've been thinking of.
In other news I think my dinner last night turned out pretty good so lemme tell y'all about it. Got some whole wheat naan from the grocery store and brushed it with a mixture of olive oil and garlic salt. This was because instead of sauce I covered the pizza with a layer of sliced cherry tomatoes. Topped that with some artichoke hearts, spinach, broccoli, tofu, sundried tomatoes and then lastly sprinkled on a little bit of cheese and red pepper flakes. Throw that thing into the oven and cook it up a little bit and voila, have an awesome yummy pizza. Served with a greek salad on the side with Stephen's patented Greek salad dressing. Very tasty dinner.
NOTE: This image was prior to baking the pizza
BTW. If you're interested in my Greek salad dressing it's as follows. 2/3 olive oil 1/3 lemon juice, enough oregano to make it look like there's oregano in it, salt and pepper to taste mix and enjoy.
