Today I got a message that valve is going to be making a Source game that is a 'lost chapter' to HL2!!! It's mainly to show off the High Dynamic Range Lighting that is in source but not yet used in HL2! That's really really tight! It's going to be avaliable to HL2 owners that 'Have certain system proformance specs' (i sooo got this!) Don't know when it's comming out, not for a while because the article only have artist sketches with it.

sooooooo, basically this level is a rumor? eh whatever. i played HL2 so much when i got it i beat it in like the first week. i would have to say that it is possibly the best first person ever. its also nice to have a game that will finally show off our systems that we have paid so much for . cheers!!

anyways, I just finished HL2 yesterday and it = AWESOME! ravenholm shows a new level of terror in videogames, just think about when we have like realistic graphics...we gonna have some FREAKY games. Anyways, I found some stuff on the net that I can now validate as being true cause i tested it out last night at 2 in the morning!


ok, first, at the end of water hazard, after you kill the helicopter, in that area theres like these two pipes on the wall, well you can go in one, theres a bunch of radioactive stuff just sprint past it, then theres a vortigan there that says ALOT of stuff, and i think its pretty important i just didnt understand a word he was saying cause it was like 2 in the morning.

also i used noclip cheat to look around in some places, and on the last map(dark energy) if you look around you can actually see the bug thing the guy is talking to on the screen! there a full 3d model of him hidden in a black room, and i shot him and it actually moved and did stuff! it looked wierd and unfinished but still!

one other thing i found was on the same map i went WAY far away from the map and there was like this orange room in the middle of nowhere....creepy!

Yea dudes! You gotta show me the crazy Vortagon when you come over (Tomorrow?) I remain skeptical about the blob dude though, Valve probably has a section of artists, and a section of Modelers, and thoes guys might not all know exactly what is going on, so they get a sketch and just make a model with anamations and give it to the ppl that atcually put the game together. But yes I hope something else happens with the Source engine!

man... I wanna find that guy! if only I didn't have to do a paper and a final draft of my lynch diagram. and read a billion pages. Maybe that will be my x-mas present to myself!

This game came out in 2004! What the frick? Man, we're getting old.
