 Wii LAN adaptor is AVALABLE NOW!!! December 18th, 2006, 6:01 pmcheck this out if you want to hook your wii up in a copper fashion.
[EDIT] the actual product has been removed from newegg. if you want to get one just froogle it or search for the model number on ebay. cheers![/EDIT] no drivers, hacking, or modding needed. truly plug and play!! These adaptors are in stock and available now for HALF the price of the Nintendo brand ones. HA HA Nintendo TAKE THAT...just kidding we love you  !!

December 27th, 2006, 3:37 pm i just tried to look for one on newegg and they are all sold out. every one that has them instock updated the item description to say something like "also works with the wii" or some other crap so they could justify raising their prices. so i went back to the site to see if there were any others that would work and lo and behold i found another adaptor that does. click on the top link to go back to the wiili article and you will notice a few other adaptors on there. i ordered myself the cheapest from ebay =D. wired wii here i come!!

January 6th, 2007, 7:10 pm zomg!!! im posting this from my wii using a ethernet adaptor i got from ebay! i would highly reccomend picking one up before the retailers jack up the prices. see the link above for details. Cheers!

January 8th, 2007, 9:10 pm well it appears that new egg removed the item from their stock so they could probably re-list it as a wii accessory
 . for now just use the link above to see what USB adaptors work with the wii. they keep updating it when the find different models.
oh and Thomas. i will try and remember to ask you to bring out the AP so i can look at it. if i forget just remind me next time im at your house. i would like to know if it works so if it doesn't i can get you something else! MrBurritoMan -out. |
