They're both off to a decent start I would say.

Korea is better off then Slovakia it seems, but I'm not exactly sure how everything works. They went 2-0 in their opening game with Argentina going 1-0 (which I think puts Korea ahead of Argentina for now)

Slovakia botched their chance to pull ahead. All 4 teams in their division ended up tying 1-1, so all 4 teams are dead even at the moment. They'll have to put up a fight against Italy, but I have faith.

My wager is both Slovakia and Korea will make it into the top 16, after that I'm just praying one of the two can fight their way to the top.

Uruguay is favored over Korea because they didn't give up a goal. Slovakia is paired up against Netherlands who managed to win all 3 of their opening games.

I'm more worried about Slovakia at this point, I think they'll be able to take on the Netherlands but then they'll probably pair up against Brazil at that point. I have faith in South Korea to keep pushing ahead too, but then they'll probably run into USA in the next round.

I guess we'll see what happens, I'm hoping both of my teams can make it into the Semi-Finals but this is where the pressure is on, and achieving Tie-Games won't help them go anywhere. South Korea could probably win a shoot off though!

Alas, my world cup dreams end today. Slovakia and South Korea couldn't even make it through the first game of round 2. =(
