The thinking was that that would be 2 pool parties in a row (not that there's anything wrong with that) and that people might like to do something else, which I was all for.
But I have changed my vote due to the fact that its really hot and we were planning on going to a park in the heat of the day. I think that would result in people wanting to sit in the shade all day and not run around and play. So we can run around and play at my house while staying cool in the pool. I still think park day would be great but we should plan another time later on in the day when its a bit cooler.

Just my opinion though. Do what you want, its your life.
