This is so great. I wish I had the guts to try this. When I get polled over by cops I'm always super honest. For example, I got polled over on the way to work and the cop said "do you know why I pulled you over?" I think he was expecting me to say I don't know or make an excuse but I said " Yep, I was going way to fast. I think I was going about 55 and the speed limit here is 45. Sorry." He sort of paused cause I'd answered all his planned questions in that one go and he didn't know what to say next. I like to think that he just gave me a warning because he was blown away by my honesty. There's also that time that I was honest for Jason and said "Yep officer, I clearly saw your lights flashing up there. I don't know what the heck this guy Jason was doing. Maybe he was demonstrating what not to do in this situation."

The guy who used to pastor the church I went to in Riverside always carried a "get out of jail free" card in his wallet. One time he got pulled over and he presented it to the cop and said "Can I use this now?" Apparently the cop thought it was so funny he let him go.
I myself have never been pulled over by a cop so I'm not sure what I'd do in that situation. The closest I ever got was I was cruising down Central up by Canyon Crest Town Center and I was bumping "Survivor" in my car. I wasn't really paying attention to anything and must've been going like 70 or so. All of a sudden I make it to the bottom of the hill at the light and I notice there are two cops right behind me. They pull over to the turn lane and I'm going straight so I figure if I don't make eye contact I'll be okay. So I'm just sitting there staring straight ahead. All of a sudden I notice they turn on their lights and I'm thinking "Crap! I thought I was safe" I look over and the cop is just giving me a 'slow down' motion. I give the dude a huge thumbs up and smile and he drives off. Awesome.

yeah that cop was a douchebag. Too douchebag-y to actually like pokemon. He probably went off to watch Digimon like the douche he was.
And your right Jason. It was more like the cop asked me if I saw the lights and I just akwardly muttered yeah. He was a stupid man on a power trip.

I guess when cops pull you over they try to be a douchebag to sort of initiate the feeling that they're better then you. Because realistically the cop is just an average joe with a badge, he has to do something to establish his dominance over you and he can't take Murphy's advice of humping your victims into submission because there's a metal frame protecting you.....until you step out of the car.
Please step out of the car, Sir.
