...a blog section that is. someplace where you could type out your thoughts and only those who you select will be able to read it. yeah yeah yeah i know what you guys are saying "just use myspace", well i friggin refuse. i don't want to get all these spam bot comments or spy-ware automatically e-mailed to me or whatever else they dream up. i just don't like the the fact that my blog would be in the hands of someone i don't know (i see it the same as mailing your diary to the press enterprise).

basically it boils down to this, sometimes i would really like to talk to people about stuff however i am not really good at that. i know that this might seem like somewhat of a shock but i am rather shy when it comes to all the touchy feely emotional junk. talking to someone face to face about that stuff is rather intimidating to me. being able to post it online would be much easier however i do not like myspace; for reasons listed above and many more that i do not know about and never will. in my opinion this site is much better for that type of thing because i know who owns and runs it and also most of the people who use it.

so, let me know what you guys think.

I think it's a great idea, I understand how typing is eaiser than talking and could be a good outlet, and I also understand that some people wouldn't want it on myspace for everone to read. Make it!

here is what i am thinking of doing. each person that wants a place to blog would get their own section. that way they can create a new topic for each day or subject and all of the comments would go under that topic.

the "owner" of that section would be the only one able to create topics and also the gate keeper allowing or disallowing whomever they wish, with obvious exception of the administrators (thomas and I).

how does that sound? i will take everyones suggestions in consideration as i would like more people to use this rather than just me .

I'm not a big fan of blogs. They can be a good thing when used correctly but I feel it makes it very easy for people to bottle up emotions. Instead I think we should have a message board where you can post and schedule times to meet people outside by the sandbox, you know after school. If you got a problem with me just schedule an appointment with me and I'll see you at the deep end of the box after school.

However I feel you would use blogs for good not evil, so maybe you should thus create a blog forum.

P.S. Yes I am a hippy, I totally posted a blog on MySpace earlier.
